Our understanding is that it can take anywhere between 2-7 business days for a review to appear online. Other than that, there are three possible reasons why a review would be blocked:
- Google thinks your business page is inactive
- Google thinks your business location is a duplicate
- Google thinks the review violates any review policies, i.e.
- Reviews from current or former employees
- Reviews from what Google thinks is a bogus Gmail account (i.e. an email account set up and not used for anything else)
- Reviews with links and URLs
- If Google thinks you’ve been paying for or incentivising reviews
- Use of profanity in Google review
- Issues with the user themselves being blocked by Google for any reason
- User deleted their review
We don't have any control over Google Reviews - if you would to report the issue to Google, you could follow this link. However, ensure you wait at least 7 days after the review was posted before reporting it as an issue to Google.
