Google Docs Version History allows users to catch up on changes and make sure they know what's different about the latest edition of their document.


Here's how to restore your previous document version


  • Login to your Gmail
  • Open Drive
  • Select any documents
  • At the top, click File > Version History and then See Version History
  • At the top right, click Last edit Version History
  • In the right panel, choose an earlier version
  • At the top, click Restore this version and then Restore



Important: If you don't have permission to edit a file, you won't be able to see the version history.
