Adding agent or office awards

Offices can add any Awards they or their team may receive, this includes awards and recognition such as REIV, REIA, REISA, AREA, REB, ratemyagent, individual Australian Achiever Awards score / story etc. Awards can be assigned to offices and agents as required.

To add an Award you will need:

  • A photo (optional, but preferred)

  • The name of the award

  • The date of the award

  • The Award Name/Type and Issuer

  • A short description of the Award and why it was won.

Important Note: Barry Plant Awards for Excellence will be added by Barry Plant Head office and should not be added by individual offices. Change requests for these Awards must be sent to Head Office.

Creating and updating individual awards

Login to the Website CMS

In the search box top left search for “Awards”

If your office hasn’t had any awards added before you can hover over the office Awards page and press the plus (+) symbol to create your first award. If your office has had awards, you will see an arrow (>) to the right of the Awards page for your office. Click the arrow to view existing awards. You can also use the search box at the top of the page to search for the individual award by name.

Click the word Title at the top of the menu to sort the page alphabetically.

Click on the 3 horizontal dots next to the title at the top of the page and select “ADD CHILD PAGE” to create a new awards page.

Awards Content

PAGE TITLE Award Name
e.g. Rated No. 1 Real Estate Agent in Airport West

CONTENT Description of the award with source eg.:
Tony Catena is the highest rated agent in Airport West in 2019.

TIP: To add a hyperlink to the original source article:

  • Highlight the text

  • Click the Link button

  • Choose External LInk on the top menu

  • Paste URL and click Insert URL

HERO IMAGE Add a good quality image for the Award - ideally, it should be different than the agent photo that is already on the website. Try to avoid using images that are heavily branded and/or low quality as they will not look as good/professional on the website. We recommend one of the following:

  • The award being received

  • The agent sitting with and/or holding their award

  • Certificate or award on a table or on the Reception countertop.

Click CHOOSE AN IMAGE
Click UPLOAD
Click Choose File
Click Upload


Once published, determine if the image is located in the correct position. If adjustment is required, click Settings at the top of the screen. Adjust Hero Image Anchor to Top, Middle or Bottom

OFFICES Select the offices that the Award applies to. Note: Please only choose offices that you have permission to post to.

AGENTS Select the agent/s that the Award applies to. Multiple agents can be assigned as required. Note: Please only choose offices that you have permission to post to.

DATE OF AWARD Use the date picker to select the date of the event or enter the date in the format of YYYY-MM-DD, i.e. 2019-06-12

SHOW RELATED AWARDS This will show other awards based on a similar award-type - untick to turn off this feature on the page.

IMAGE GALLERY You can use the image gallery if you have a variety of photos you’d like to include on the page.

VIDEO URL Leave blank

Click SAVE DRAFT button to save your changes so far.

SEO TAB  If desired, you can update the SEO Settings, using the title/name of the Award as your Meta Title and using the start of the description text as your Meta Description.

SHARING TAB If you’re part of an office Group, you can share to one of your other offices using the “Sharing” tab and select that office. There is no need to select the office that you’re already editing.

PUBLISH Once complete, click the arrow next to Save Draft and select PUBLISH from the dropdown list.
