Please ensure images you upload to the Barry Plant website have been optimised in size and are of good quality. Barry Plant Corporate reserves the right to remove any images that are not up to standard.
When all photos are sized correctly it helps to ensure faster page loading and clear images that are appropriately sized for online viewing.
It's important to ensure you have permission to use and publish any photos you post to the Barry Plant website prior to posting them. Please avoid adding branding to photos as there is already branding on the website. If you require branding on photos, seek approval from the Barry Plant Head Office Marketing team.
Agent / Staff Profile Photos
The ideal size for staff profile photos is 900 pixels high x 600 pixels wide. Here's an example photo:

Website Hero Photo / Video
For the hero photo or video on web pages (the full width photo that appears at the top of home page and sub pages, the ideal size is 1920 pixels wide by 1200 pixels high. This includes the smaller more panoramic photos on pages such as Awards, Testimonials & Careers. In the CMS you can choose where you want the focus on the hero photo i.e. anchor to the top, middle or bottom of the photo, so there's no need to crop the photo.

Website Smaller Image
For smaller photos that appear on content blocks such as the Image & Text Content Block, we recommend a size of 700 pixels wide x 500 pixels high.

Website Carousel Image
If you use the Carousel content block, we recommend a photo size of 415 pixels wide x 465 pixels high.

Website Property Listings
The Barry Plant website uses the standard spec for property listing photos - the same as all portals, which is a 4:3 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2000 pixels x 1000 pixels. Or 1600 pixels x 1200 pixels at the minimum.
Horizontal images are best, but you may use vertical photos if needed. We recommend not using a vertical image as your primary / first image.
